SIU PET 2015 Exam Dates

Symbiosis International University of Pune has declared the dates of Ph.D Entrance Test (PET-2015) which are going to be conducted on 27th of June 2015. The following entrance exam is conducted for taking admissions in Computer Studies, Engineering, Health and Biomedical Sciences, Media, Management, Humanities and Social Sciences, Communication and Design and Law disciplines for the year 2015.

Eligibility Criteria for SIU PET (2015)

Candidates seeking admission into Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programs must satisfy any one ofthe following eligibility criteria which are listed below.

1. Students must have a masters degree
OR
Equivalent in the relevant subject with 55% marks or equivalent CGPA from any University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in India (SC/ST candidates will get 5% relaxation in marks or equivalent CGPA).

2. Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade in CGPA.

3. Master's degree or equivalent in any subject with 55% marks and a minimum of five years of work experience, in the area of interdisciplinary research in which admission is being sought.

4.  In case of candidates holding a qualifying degree from a foreign university, registration for PhD will be
confirmed after determination of equivalence by the SIU.

Paper pattern of Symbiosis International University of Pune Ph.D Entrance Test (PET-2015) is as follow.

The paper comprises of three subjects which will have multiple choice questions for 75 marks and for 1 hour 30 minutes duration.
